Continuing along the themes of "Grammy season" and "bomber female artists", I photographed Allison Russell and her Rainbow Coalition last night at the State Room in SLC. What a treat to see Allison (on vox, clarinet, banjo!) with @megbrittcole on kit/vox, @ganessajames on guitar/bass/vox, and music director @lilelenna on keys/melodica/vox. It's little surprise that _The Returner_ has garnered 3 Grammy nominations for 2024, and that album boasts even more killer female musicians with serious street cred, e.g. @sistastrings are on tour w/@brandicarlile & @wendymelvoin_rp
